Arrival in Prishtina Airport
Arrival in Prishtina airport and transfer to the hotel in Prishtina city center. Free evening to relax after the flight, and overnight in Prishtina

Prishtina – Patriarchate of Peja Monastery – Peja – Rugova Valley
Today we transfer to the city of Peja, a beautiful small city with a rich cultural and historical inheritance being host to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by a beautiful nature and located at the foot of Bjeshkët e Nemuna (the Accursed Mountains) and Rugova Canyon.
We take a walking tour in the city center, before reaching the Patriarchate of Peja Monastery, a medieval Serbian Orthodox monastery built in the 13th century. The monastery has a beautiful and colourful exterior, as well as some magnificent faded frescoes covering the walls and ceiling.
After the visit we drive towards Rugova valley, with a beautiful landscape, surrounded by glacial lakes and fairy-tale pine forests. We spend the afternoon enjoying the nature, as well as a delicious dinner with traditional menu.

Rugova – Decan Monastery – Gjakova
This morning we visit another monastery in Peja, before transferring to the small town of Gjakova.
Enter to Decan Monastery; a beautiful monastery of the 14th century located bellow the mountains and surrounded by chestnut and pine trees. The interior has one of the most beautiful churches in Europe, filled with Biblical murals and wooden doors.
After the visit, we reach Gjakova; a charming, laid back historical town. We spend the afternoon in the old town, and visit its bazaar, which is also the longest bazaar in the Balkans. Dinner with traditional menu from the region and overnight in Gjakova.

Gjakova – Mirusha Waterfalls – Rahovec Wine Tasting – Prizren
Today we transfer to the UNESCO town of Prizren, where we will spend the overnight. Along the way, we visit Mirusha Waterfalls, a beautiful landscape of waterfalls cascading over the rocks and forming pools, where we you can enjoy swimming, bellow the cascades. We can also take a walk in the farming countryside near the waterfall, before transferring to Rahovec. Rahovec is a small town, known as Kosovo’s wine capital, due to the numerous wineries located there. We visit one of them, see the different stages of wine production processes, and enjoy degustation of some of the local wines.
Afternoon in Prizren, an open air museum, part of UNESCO, with lots of history and a delicious cuisine. We take a city tour in the center and enjoy dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight in Prizren.

Prizren – Gadime Cave – Pristina city tour
This morning we return to Pristina. Along the way, we visit Gadime Cave, a 1.2 km deep marble cave, full of crystallised stalactites and stalagmites, formed over millions of years. The cave was discovered in 1969. We take a guided tour that will allow us to visit the first 440 meters of the cave.
In the afternoon we reach Pristina, where we enjoy a guided tour of the city.
During the city tour of Prishtina, we will walk by the old part of the city, and see the Museum of Kosova, the Stone Mosque, Jashar Pasha Mosque, the Bazaar, the Clock Tower, the Big Mosque, the Hamam (Turkish public bath), Mother Tereza Boulevard, the Independence House, the famous Newborn Monument, the Mother Teresa Cathedral, the Statue of American President Bill Clinton, National Gallery, and the famous building of National Library with its unique architecture. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Prishtina.

Prishtina – Ulpiana Archaeological site – Gracanica Monastery – Prishtina
Today we take an excursions in two interesting touristic sites near Prishtina; the archaeological site of Ulpiana and the Monastery of Gracanica.
Ulpiana shows the ruins of an Illyrian kingdom pre-dating the Romans , which further developed more under the Roman Empire. During the years Ulpiana has suffered numerous earthquakes and barbarian tribes’ attacks. After this archaeological visit, we transfer to Gracanica Monastery, Gracanica was founded in 1321 by Serbian King Stefan Milutin and declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990. Since 2006 Gracanica Monastery is part of the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The monastery has beautiful medieval-era paintings and a nice chapel with vivid murals.
Afternoon return to Prishtina for another dinner and overnight in the capital.
